There are 3 airport options when planning your visit to Barolo:

Torino (Turin): 1 hour and 10min by car.

Genova: 1 hour and 30min by car

Milan Malpensa/Linate: 2 hours and 30min

Driving Directions:

From Turin Caselle airport: Exit airport in the direction of Turin. Continue straight until you see the exit to the right for the Tangenziale (T4). You will merge on to the A55. This is the ring road around Turin and you will continue straight, following the signs for SAVONA (A6). After approximately 20 minutes, you will exit the T4 on the right - A6 direction SAVONA. Continue straight for a further 20 minutes. Exit the A6 at MARENE. After paying the toll, continue straight until the motorway ends and another toll is paid. Upon exiting the 2nd toll booth, go straight through two round-abouts and follow signs for Barolo. After approximately 10 minutes, you will turn left up a hill on the SP3, direction Barolo, Vergne. Once at the top of the hill, pass through Vergne and descend down the hill (at the round-about) towards Barolo. You will get a bird's eye view of the village of Barolo and TorreBarolo from this road.

When you arrive, you will want to drop off your luggage at the bottom of our street, in front of the Borgono winery. Our street is very narrow and unless your rental is a compact, it might be a challenge to navigate the narrow street in reverse. There is a large parking lot at the bottom of the village and there is no parking time restriction. It is only a few minute walks from the parking lot back to the tower but it is a vertical ascent and a good calorie burn. TorreBarolo is located at #4 Via Gioberti. Buzzer: Schuster/Ferrito.

From Genova airport: After you exit the airport tunnel, you have to make a quick decision for directions. Keep right at the fork and follow the sign: A26/A7/E80/A10 direction Alessandria/Milano. Merge onto A10/E80. Take the exit towards Ventimiglia. Merge onto the A10. Exit SAVONA to merge onto the A6 towards TURIN. There are a few choices for exits coming from this direction. Mondovi will be the first one and you can take the country roads towards Barolo. For ease of directions, I would recommend taking the exit for MARENE. See above for direction from MARENE exit.

From Milan: A26 direction Alessandria. A21 direction Asti. Continue past Asti on the E74 towards Alba. Remain on this motorway and you will see signs for Barolo once you pass Alba on your left. See above for instructions once in Barolo.
